• MaxxAir's EZ/MAXX® screen filter kit for ceiling fans prevents dirt and dust from collecting on the inside of your Fan-Tasticâ„¢ ceiling fan's screen.

1. Hold the EZ/MAXX® Filter up to the screen trim ring on your fan/vent and align the locking tabs on the edges of the filter ring with four screws in the screen trim ring. Set the filter aside and remove the four selected screws from the screen trim ring. (Note: This will be every-other screw in the screen trim ring. Make certain that selected screw locations allow room to attach the EZ/Maxx™ retainer clips and do not interfere with fan operation

2. Using the longer screws provided, securely attach the four retainer clips to the screen trim ring. The clips should be attached with the round tab facing inward. When properly aligned, tighten gently into place.
3. Once the retainer clips are in place, slide the EZ/Maxxâ„¢ Filter under the operating handle of your fan/vent, align the filter locking tabs with the clips, and snap them in place. Make certain that all four of the tabs on the filter frame are securely locked under the rounded inside edge of the retainer clips.
